As you all know I gave notice last September to resign as President of the ICC. The time has come, now that my two boys are grown and need Mum a little less, I think David and I should take some time to travel. I have always given 100% of my time to the ICC and run it as if it were my own business. As we will now be travelling more I would not feel comfortable giving anything less than 100% of my time.

Over the last seven years the ICC has grown from a gathering of a few people on a cold February day to a well established and integrated club.
- Over the years we have done many things such as restaurant days and lunches.
- We have participated in the Retro Passion weekend in Rennes
- and have also been invited to many French club events.
- The main event that will always remain a lasting memory for me is Les Anciennes Reprennent La Route in Gouarec. Who would have thought we could have achieved so much! Even now I can't believe that for the last event we reached over 300 vehicles parked in Gouarec, with 5000 visitors! Not to mention a certain president dancing on tables, that was a first!
Many friendships have been made and will continue.
Two weeks ago we donated a cheque for 500 euros to a breast cancer charity through Pat Davis who was running a sponsored race in Brest with his son and girlfriend (from the US). We received a lovely thank you letter thanking us for the donation and how important the money was to them, to help beat this disease.Another 500 euros will be sent to the French equivalent of cancer research
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped me run the club, organised a day out, helped us with our big days at Gouarec and Rétro Passion. A big thank you to Malcolm who designed our logo all those years ago. A big thank you to all my fellow committee members, without you we would never have done so much.
Sav, thank you is not enough for all your support over the years, we have had some tough times to overcome and my goodness we have had a good laugh. I thank you for your support which at times has been 24/7. I hope we have a strong friendship that will last for many years to come.

I would like to wish Michel Lorans and his new Commitee all the very best on moving the ICC forward. I will remain a member and look forward to participating in future events and outings.
