Le Interesting Car Club were invited to attend the Langöelan Music Festival 56160 on Saturday 21st June 2025.
It was a small turnout, but with people away and so much happening throughout France this weekend, it was understandable.
Those that came had a fabulous day, with beautiful weather - perhaps a little too hot but we were all trying not to complain!
As the village is only 15 minutes away from my home, the event was an excellent one for ‘Rene’ & I to attend.
We listened to fabulous live music at the Bar ‘Le temps d’un Café’.
There was good food at 'The Coq and Pussy'. This is a newly opened restaurant serving full English breakfast as well as a variety of food.
We also visited a superb Brocante - run by Paddy.
'Bad Dogs Brocante & Antiquities' had a fantastic eclectic display of antiquities and was situated right next to the Marie where the cars were parked.
Damian, Michelle and I could have spent a small fortune if we had ‘let ourselves go’.
A few people visited the cars, even though it was quite hot and early in the festivities.
Alex, with his 1981 Ford, regaled his recent radiator hic-cups after he had broken down on an Industrial site. He then blagged a replacement radiator from a local garage, that was from a totally different more modern car.
He then spent a couple of hours in a Supermarket car-park ‘tweaking’ the radiator attaching it with cable ties. The ‘repair’ is still holding!
A fabulous day out, enjoyed by everyone.
Barbara Blackwell & René.
